Satisfying purchase.July 21, 2008 I've been looking for a volleyball for a while. To be specific, I wanted one that I could use at the beach that does not bruise your wrists.
Note: I play volleyball for purely (amateur) recreational reasons and this one was definitely something that fit into my needs.
Pros (+) and Cons (-): 1. Does not cause welts on wrists. (+) 2. Someone mentioned that this was a plastic child's ball, this is partly true. The Squish volleyball is pretty much one of those plastic handballs in a foamy volleyball disguise. I think it was designed for pool usage. Read: Not a real volleyball. (-) 3. The red/white/blue design is very attractive. (+) 4. Too bouncy and light. It will literally fly over half the beach if you hit it hard enough. Again, not a real volleyball. (-)
I like it.

I ordered 8 pillow covered volleyballs. My students played with them on Friday and LOVED them. They were able to hit the ball without stinging their arms. Great product. The volleyballs arrived quickly, although they were overpackaged. Each one came in its own box.
This is NOT a volleyballSeptember 17, 2007 This is just a plastic ball. The kind they sell in supermarkets for little kids. If you're looking for a soft volleyball, look elsewhere.
My daughter loves this volleyballMay 7, 2007 My daughter is so into volleyball and pink this was a wonderful thing for her. She even took it to school and they used it at volleyball practice.
It's a ball, but it looks usedDecember 15, 2006 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
The ball came in just a couple of days. But it looks like it has been used by the Olympic Beach Volleyball team. Or, maybe, the hardcourt pro-team. The ball was scuffed and smudged in black all over it. I am extremely unimpressed with its appearance. I would like to get my money back.
