Jack Purcell'sAugust 20, 2008 Pure nostalgia, perfect for the baby boomers! When I played tennis in the early 60's, the tennis shoe of choice were Jack Purcell's. No one knew who he was but everyone had to have his shoes. I had not seen these shoes since the late 60's but when I heard they were still available, I had to buy a pair.
