They represent the culmination of Petzl's efforts to improve the efficiency of clipping -- in thanks to its shape and to the operation of the Keylock system. Produced in forged zicral, these two models have a particularly advantageous strength/weight ratio. The gate open strength reaches a particularly high value of 9.5 kN. Gate closed: 23 kN. The straight-gate Spirit is very easy to clip to hangers or anchor points. The curved-gate Spirit is more specifically designed for the rope to clip into. Individually tested.
