Columbia's pants run very small. I am a shapely woman, not fat muscularly built in thigh and calve area. This is the second time I have bought this brand trying to give the benefit of the doubt, but I have figured it out that this brand does not make pants in this material for a shapely woman. I should not have to buy a size 10 when I where a six just to get these pants to fit but if you are an avid Columbia brand fan then size up! I have found a brand that works for my shape and cheaper in some instances is NorthFace.The North Face G Denali Thermal SCA (Black) -AAZH001
