The Arginine EffectSeptember 18, 2007 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
I was curious & skeptical about this product and if it would really have any noticeable effects with regard to male virility. I have read a lot of medical articles and done a good amount of internet research on this amino acid and everything I've read points to a positive result regarding sexual wellness when Arginine is used as a supplement. The standard dose of L-Arginine for erectile dysfunction is 5000MG (5G), so used that dosage for my own bio-assay results and sexual experimentation. I have taken daily 5000MG doses every morning for the past 4 weeks and have noticed a few things: 1. Semen level increased SIGNIFICANTLY upon reaching orgasm. 2. Orgasm lasts a bit longer. Probably because of the increased amount of semen. 3. Orgasm feels a bit more intense (sometimes very intense).
All in all, I would have to say that I definitely notice positive results when using this supplement for sexual wellness. I plan to keep using this supplement for extended study.
Please keep in mind that many "male enhancement products" (including Enzyte) contain the amino acid L-Arginine and falsely promote incredible results. These product claims are used as a gimmick and appear to be erroneous. My observations: 1. Arginine did not increase my libido or stamina. 2. Arginine did not increase the size of my penis. 3. Arginine did not produce a firmer or longer lasting erection.
Research of Arginine suggests the following to be true: 1. Increases sperm count and motility. 2. Improves erections. 3. Shows promise in the treatment of male infertility. 4. Preliminary evidence shows that Arginine could be helpful in men with erectile dysfunction.
