I'm a fan of the Yogitoes products (except the yoga bag) and received the Shiva Pillow as a gift. It took a while for me to take it into my hot yoga class but now I love it! It makes savasana much more comfortable on my back when I put the pillow at the base of my skull (under my neck). It really helps to take some of the stress from my lower back.
It's also great for camel or any other pose that requires being on your knees. I wish I had 2 of them but I think it's a bit pricey so I use a folded towel for one knee and the pillow for the more sensitive knee.
It's also great for child's pose, just to rest your forehead slightly higher on the pillow vs the ground.
Overall, I would recommend it and would have given it 5 stars had the price not been a factor.
The pillow is very dense and squishy (like memory foam)... but one minor complaint I have is that the cover is a bit of a pain to get off/on to wash. I wish they would make the zippered part about another inch longer.
