Recommended for play and exercise.September 23, 2007 The use of nylon webbing makes this tug-of-war rope strong, stretch resistant and easy to clean. The handles provide safe and secure grip points for children and adults. Gripping the webbing in between the loops would be dangerous since a slip could cause a deep cut on a full pull. We use this item at recess with supervision at school. The children love it, and through their play and some adult guided competition, they get exercise with a game that can be brought and set up almost anywhere. The loops are set at intervals that keep participants at a safe distance from one another. 14 people to a side is a good number - making 28 places - usually accommodating all students in each class. For schoolgrounds and play areas everywhere - even a family picnic is a great place to bring this fun item!
