VINYL COATED COVERS!Ultimat mats are our highest quality mats, filled with 1- 3/8" cross-linked polyethylene and are available in either 1' or 2' panels that fold in 2' sections for ease in handling and storage. Ultimat mats are upholstered with a tough 18 oz. vinyl fabric. Knife-coated on both sides, the 5.3 oz. polyester base fabric provides excellent tensile strength that resists abrasions, tears and punctures. All mats are treated to resist fungus, bacteria, and mildew as well as provide years of hard use. Excellent for use with individuals over 100 lbs. in weight. Extra firm polyethylene mats give "no bottoming out" safety. We do suggest the poly or bonded foam mats for younger students as these may feel too firm. Use with gymnastic equipment such as balance beams, or use in tumbling and high impact activities. Lightweight mats can be moved and stored easily.
