Great H2O BottleSeptember 7, 2008 We have been using these everyday since they arrived. Once filled, two loaded bottles sit on the frig door and whenever anybody gets in the truck to leave there is a bottle of chilled water on the console to quench the thirst from driving in the hot summer days.
These are not heavy duty double wall like campers might carry on a pack but they are great containers and do not cost the premium that other bottles do. . . The sport spout is a bit different but I find I unscrew the cap and drink from the bottle anyway.
Nots so CoolSeptember 3, 2008 The new wave Enviro Stainless Steel Water Bottle (1 liter) is a great bottle with a convenient capacity. The only drawback is that stainless steel is a good heat conductor so ice water does not stay cold very long. The configuration of the 1 liter bottle does not lend itself to off the shelf insulated covers either. So the bottle is great if you're going to drink your beverage right away but soon gets warm if you keep it for any length of time. It would be great if you could also buy a companion insulating cover.
Plastic Portion Pulls out of bottleSeptember 2, 2008 I liked the bottle until the entire plastic portion popped out everytime I pulled on the spout to drink from it.
Just one thing...September 2, 2008 I like everything about the bottle, except the mouth piece dose not open enough so it's hard to get the water out. Other than that, it keeps the water cold and it's a great size.
Not 100% Perfect waterbottleAugust 29, 2008 For $12.99 this product could have a better quality spout. The body is very slick, easy to hold with the narrow part fitting into my hand comfortably.It is lightweight yet sturdy, but the drinking spout is somewhat hard to handle and seems flimsy. I am afraid that it might break before long. The air release is hard to depress and there is no instruction whatsoever as to the care and replacement for parts.
