I just bought this cablenetFebruary 13, 2008 We haven't had this very long, but it looks good, works well, seems like it should last much much longer than the nylon net ones.

I love Cablenet. Easier to put on the rim than you'd think. Only cutting the excess cable requires some thought, and you'll need a good tool to crimp. People walk by and marvel at it. If you love basketball, you can't resist taking a shot. Then, you'll discover that it also works pretty well for allowing you to retrieve the ball after a made shot. It "catches" the ball nicely.
