Doesn't workAugust 2, 2008 The compass does not work. As a previous reviewer noted, the compass moves randomly rather than point north. It is worthless. There is no reason to buy this.

I ordered this through the mail without seeing it in person, and have concluded that it is just a toy. The bell works, but the compass seems to point in random directions, or not move at all. After mounting it on my bike, and finding that it seemed to point mostly at the handlebar, I removed it and put it near the garbage bin to be picked up by those who scour the garbage here to pick up items that they want. I would not recommend this item to anyone who expects it to work as a compass.
