Leave the removable tailbone shield in for max butt pads protection, or take it out if you dont need it. This is the padded short you need for all your active sports. Soft foam pad over the tailbone area, plus a removable plastic shield sandwiched inside. Hip pointer protection. Crash Pads own Dry-Power fabric wicks moisture away from your skin. Durable pads stitched on the outside make these padded shorts acceptable as outerwear. 90% polyester, 10% lycra. Machine washable, but we recommend hand washing.
